AWS Club

$50/month · two bottles

Some people know exactly what they like. This club is for everyone else — the curious ones.

Every month, our in-house wine expert picks two bottles just for AWS Club members — one red, one white. The red might be a juicy Pinot from a producer we just discovered; the white, a crisp Pecorino from Abruzzo you'd never have grabbed off the shelf, or a Chablis that makes you rethink Chardonnay entirely. Old favorites, new obsessions — the only rule is that we have to love both bottles before they go in your bag.

Your wines are set aside with your name on them, ready whenever you swing by the shop. And being a member comes with the good stuff year-round: up to 15% off every wine in the shop under $100, plus invites to our members-only tastings and events — the kind where the good bottles come out and nobody's in a hurry.

Fifty bucks a month. Two bottles you wouldn't have found on your own. That's the club.

All-Reds Club

$50/month · two reds

You know who you are. Whites have their place, sure, and that place is somebody else's glass.

The All-Reds Club is exactly what it sounds like: every month, our in-house wine expert hand-picks two reds for you — and only reds. A juicy Pinot from a producer we just discovered, a Tempranillo with some age on it, a Cab Franc that made us stop mid-sip in the tasting room. If it's red and it's outstanding, it's fair game.

Your bottles wait for you at the shop with your name on them — no shipping boxes, no melted-in-a-truck worries, just a reason to come see us. Members also get up to 15% off every wine under $100, all year, every visit, and a standing invitation to our members-only events and tastings.

Two bottles, fifty dollars, zero whites. If your answer to “red or white?” has never once required thought, welcome home.

For the serious red drinkers

Big Red Club

$80/month · one premium red

This is the one for the serious red drinkers. The people who linger over the last glass. Who have opinions about tannins and aren't shy about them.

Each month, our in-house wine expert selects one premium red — the single boldest, most memorable bottle to come through our doors. A structured Cabernet, a brooding Syrah, the kind of special bottle we're honestly a little tempted to keep for ourselves. Not two decent wines; one exceptional one, pulled from the top shelf and chosen for members who want their monthly bottle to feel like an occasion.

And it is an occasion — your bottle is set aside at the shop with your name on it, and picking it up usually turns into a conversation about what you're getting into. Members also take up to 15% off every wine in the shop under $100 and get first invitations to our members-only tastings, where — fair warning — the pours tend to match the club.

Membership terms

  • Your monthly selections are set aside with your name on them and held for two months. We can only guarantee your specific club bottles for that window — after two months, unclaimed selections may be substituted with different bottles of equal value to those months' selections.
  • Memberships are charged with each monthly run and can be cancelled anytime — call (703) 723-7575 or stop by the counter. No cancellation fees, no hard feelings.
  • Member discounts (up to 15% off wines under $100) apply to in-store purchases and cannot be combined with other offers. All pickups require valid 21+ photo ID.
