An 85/15 blend of Viura and Tempranillo Blanco, the rare white mutation of red Tempranillo first found in a Rioja vineyard in 1988. Carlos Serres is one of the handful of Rioja Alta bodegas actually using it, which gives this young white more personality than the usual Viura-only bottling. Steel-fermented, unoaked, made to drink young. Good everyday white for anyone bored of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.

Pale straw yellow with white flowers, citrus and green apple, plus ripe pear and peach underneath. Refreshing acidity, fine minerality, and a finish that turns toward herbs and almonds.

Tempranillo Blanco is a natural mutation of red Tempranillo, first found in a vineyard in Murillo de Río Leza in 1988; it's still exclusive to DOCa Rioja and used by very few producers. Carlos Serres blends it with Viura for extra aromatic lift.
