Chappellet Chardonnay Sangiacomo 2023 750ml

Chappellet built its name on Pritchard Hill Cabernet, and the Grower Collection is the family's nod to the growers they trust most. This Chardonnay comes from the Sangiacomo family, farming Sonoma Carneros since 1927 on cool, windswept ground near San Pablo Bay. The 2023 is lush and creamy but keeps a beam of bright acidity. Serious California Chardonnay from two families who have farmed for generations. Pour it for the Rombauer crowd and the Chablis crowd alike.

Pineapple, orange zest and lemon custard with brioche, vanilla bean, nutmeg and clove. Lush, layered palate of ripe citrus, apricot and creme brulee. Bright acidity, long finish.

Lobster with drawn butter, chicken piccata, or a sweet corn risotto.

The Sangiacomos are multigenerational growers whose Carneros vineyards border San Pablo Bay, where wind and fog stretch the growing season and hold acidity. Chappellet, founded on Pritchard Hill in 1967, bottles the Grower Collection to showcase single sites from longtime partner farmers.
