Fess Parker played Davy Crockett, then bought 714 acres in the Santa Ynez Valley and started planting vines in 1989 with his son Eli. The family still runs it. This Riesling is all stainless, fermented and aged in tank, off dry but with the acidity to carry it. Fruit comes from Camp Four and Rodney's in the Santa Ynez Valley. Wine Enthusiast gave the 2022 ninety-two points. Refreshing, versatile, and easy to keep pouring.

Green apple, white peach and pear with jasmine and honeysuckle. Citrus zest and a wet stone edge. Light to medium bodied, crisp acidity, a touch of sweetness, clean finish with lingering lime.

Camp Four was planted in 1998 in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. Fess died in 2010. Eli Parker and his sister Ashley Parker Snider run the place now, farming close to 700 acres across four Santa Barbara County vineyards.
