Long Meadow Ranch is the Hall family's organic operation in Napa, a working ranch dating to 1872 where certified-organic vineyards share the land with olive orchards, cattle, and vegetable gardens. Farmstead is their table label. This 2019 Chardonnay draws Carneros fruit grown near the cool of San Pablo Bay, fermented in stainless steel with sur lie aging, a light 20 percent touch of French oak, and no malolactic. Napa Chardonnay with its acidity intact. Roast chicken wine, honestly.

Golden Delicious apple, pear, and lime zest with a little vanilla and baking spice. Lively, textured palate, citrus over melon with a hint of butter, bright acidity, and a long, refreshing finish.
