Lodi Cabernet from Oak Farm's home estate and the neighboring Shinn vineyard, both sandy-loam sites farmed sustainably under the Lodi Rules certification. Lodi doesn't get Napa's press, which is exactly why this over-delivers: full-bodied without being heavy, silky where budget Cab is usually rough, and honestly priced. If your weeknight Cabernet rotation has gone stale, this is the fix.

Black cherry, black plum and dried flowers on the nose; blackberry, cherry cola and dried bay leaf through the middle, with sweet cigar and bittersweet chocolate on a dry, silky finish.

Classic matches for Cabernet Sauvignon: Ribeye off the grill, lamb chops, aged cheddar, a rainy night and a good movie.

The fruit comes from two sandy-loam Lodi vineyards, Oak Farm's home estate and neighboring Shinn, both trellised and farmed sustainably under Lodi Rules certification.
