Orsolani has been the reference producer for Erbaluce in Caluso for generations, a family house in the steep, windy hills of northern Piedmont where this native white grape does its best work. Al Bacio is 100 percent Erbaluce from organic vineyards, fermented in stainless steel to keep everything bright. A mountain white in spirit: taut, mineral, refreshing. A smart left turn for the Pinot Grigio crowd and a natural with a dozen oysters.

Lemon, green apple, and white peach with chalky, saline minerality. Light bodied, bright, and zippy, stainless-clean, finishing dry with mountain-stream freshness.
