Domaine Benastra farms this Côtes Catalanes red organically in the Roussillon, hand-harvesting Lledoner Pelut, Carignan, Syrah and Grenache Noir for La Petite Soeur. The 2021 blend runs 40% Lledoner Pelut, 20% each Carignan, Syrah and Grenache, fermented with native yeasts (the Carignan entirely whole-cluster) and aged six months between concrete tank and neutral oak casks. Unfined, unfiltered, low sulfur. A juicy, honest Languedoc-Roussillon red for weeknight dinners and pizza night alike.

Ripe strawberry and red fruit up front, laced with herbs and a savory black olive edge. Light to medium body, bright acidity, soft tannin, energetic finish.
