Bagordi is a family-run, fully organic Rioja producer, and Baron de Pardo is their crianza built to over-deliver at the price. Mostly Tempranillo with a touch of Mazuelo and Graciano, aged twelve months in French oak before release. The Carcar family designed it to be Rioja's welcome mat: real oak character, real fruit, none of the stuffiness. Weeknight paella, Tuesday steak, whatever's on the stove. This is the bottle that just works.

Deep cherry red with violet edges. Ripe red fruit up front, vanilla and cinnamon from the oak, a streak of roasted coffee. Black fruit and cherry carry through the palate into a long, spice-dusted finish.
