Cakebread built its name in Napa, but the family grows Pinot Noir in Anderson Valley, where cold Pacific air slows ripening and keeps the wine bright. The 2023 Two Creeks blends fruit from their two estate ranches, Annahala and Apple Barn, harvested at night, cold-soaked in small open-top tanks and raised ten months in barrel. Red cherry and wild strawberry with real freshness. A famous name doing quiet, honest Pinot work.
Fresh red and black cherry, wild strawberry, rose petal and violet aromas. Medium-bodied with juicy strawberry, raspberry and cherry fruit, fine tannins and bright acidity. 14.2% alcohol.
