Vigneron Pierre Seillan farms south-facing hillside vines on clay and limestone. The 2022 is 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from a sensational Bordeaux year, earning a 94-point review. Classified Saint-Émilion from a great vintage at forty-two dollars. Deep ruby-plum. Dark berries, truffled earth, tobacco, floral lift. Full bodied, layered and opulent, sweet present tannins, Right Bank limestone minerality, outstanding length.
