Cuvaison has been at this since 1969 and bought its Los Carneros land in 1979, 400 acres of rolling hills above San Pablo Bay. This estate Pinot is all their own fruit from that certified sustainable vineyard, 100 percent Pinot Noir aged ten months in French oak, a third of it new. Bright, aromatic Carneros Pinot with real freshness. The dinner-party red you grab when you don't know the menu yet.
