Dial Tone is a Babs Wine Co. project from Moret Brealynn and veteran Pinot maker Adam Lee. The 2021 blends Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley fruit into a medium-bodied, red-fruited Pinot with a long finish. Wine Spectator gave it 91 points. It drinks beautifully right now and holds for a few more years. Retro phone label on the outside, serious juice inside. The kind of Santa Barbara Pinot that overdelivers at dinner parties.
Mulberry, strawberry and red plum with spice, forest floor and florals. Hints of blood orange and rose. Ripe and fruit-forward, medium to full body, long finish.
