Effort is the second label of Center of Effort, the estate winery in Edna Valley on California's SLO Coast, one of the coolest growing corridors in the state. The 2021 is 100% Pinot Noir at a trim 13.5% alcohol. Wine Enthusiast gave it 95 points and an Editors' Choice, saying it overdelivers hard for an entry bottling. Bright, snappy, red fruited coastal Pinot. Weeknight roast chicken wine with a critic's score attached.
Raspberry, pomegranate, loamy earth and wild mint on the nose. Snappy red fruit and light herb flavors, fresh acidity, long silky texture through the finish.
