Eroica is the transatlantic Riesling project between Chateau Ste. Michelle and Mosel legend Ernst Loosen of Dr. Loosen, pairing German Riesling technique with Washington's Columbia Valley fruit — mostly the Evergreen Vineyard in the Ancient Lakes AVA. Made 100% Riesling, off-dry, and typically around 12% alcohol, it set the benchmark when it launched and still anchors Ste. Michelle's Riesling program. It's the bottle for anyone who thinks they don't like Riesling — bright, food-friendly, and built to age if you let it.

Exuberant stone fruit, citrus and floral notes up front, with the bright lime and mineral edge Washington Riesling is known for. Off-dry, with mouth-watering acidity that keeps the fruit in balance through a long finish.

Classic matches for Riesling: Spicy Thai or Szechuan, pork, sushi, salty snacks.

A collaboration between Chateau Ste. Michelle winemaker Bob Bertheau and Mosel's Ernst Loosen, sourced primarily from the Evergreen Vineyard in the Ancient Lakes AVA, with additional fruit from Yakima Valley and Columbia Valley sites. The partnership set out to combine Old World Riesling technique with Washington's cool-climate fruit.
