Four Sisters is a Victoria, Australia label making unfussy, fruit-first wines with Jo Nash at the winemaking helm. The Pinot Noir pulls fruit from across South Eastern Australia, picked early at the peak of harvest to keep varietal character bright, then fermented in sweeping-arm fermenters for a gentle wine with dense color. Medium bodied, honest, ready now. Chill it a touch and open it on a Tuesday.
Plum and cherry aromas with a hint of spicy oak. Medium bodied, dark stone fruit, savory notes, velvety tannins. Shines with a light chill around 55 degrees.
Wild mushroom risotto, pan-fried salmon, or slow-roasted pork belly. Peking duck if you are showing off.
