This is Château Tanunda's Grand Barossa GSM, sold here as a red blend: Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre pulled from vineyard sites across the Barossa Valley. The Château has been making wine at Tanunda since 1890 and is certified with Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. Fifteen percent alcohol, matured in a mix of new and seasoned French and American barrels. The 2017 has settled down. Drink it now.

Lifted blackberry, black cherry and raspberry on the nose. Spicy dark berry fruit and white pepper on the palate, fine-grained tannins from barrel, a long finish. Ripe and warm in style.
