Lapostolle was founded in 1994 by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle — great-granddaughter of the Grand Marnier founder — and her husband Cyril de Bournet, built around a clos of hundred-year-old, pre-phylloxera vines they found in Chile's Apalta Valley. Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc comes from Rapel Valley fruit and applies that same French winemaking discipline to an everyday white: vibrant acidity, citrus and green apple, herbal lift. A step above supermarket Sauvignon Blanc from a family serious about Chilean terroir.

Pale yellow with green edges. Clean, expressive nose of white fruit and citrus. Fresh, unctuous palate of citrus, green apple and subtle herbal notes, vibrant acidity, and a long finish.

Built for shellfish and other seafood, or anything light and herb-driven off the grill.

Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, of the Grand Marnier family, and husband Cyril de Bournet founded the estate in 1994 after discovering a clos of pre-phylloxera, century-old vines in the Apalta Valley. Now in its seventh generation, the family pairs French winemaking with Chilean sites across the Colchagua and Rapel valleys.
