Merry Edwards is one of the defining names in Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, and this is the winery's signature appellation bottling. The 2023 draws roughly 60% estate fruit, rounded out by grower partners in Laguna Ridge and the Sebastopol Hills, and spent nine months in 37% new French oak. Dark cherry depth with real spine and a mineral streak. The Pinot you bring when the dinner actually matters.
Brooding black cherry, raspberry, violets and cola spice. Medium to full-bodied, with cherry, sage, black tea and cinnamon, grippy fine tannins, bright acid and a saline mineral edge on the finish.
