Miguel Torres brought five generations of Catalan winemaking to Chile when he built a winery in Curicó back in 1979, and the Cordillera line spotlights the country's signature red grape. This bottling is 100% Carmenere, sourced from the Cachapoal Valley, fermented in stainless steel and finished through malolactic in French oak. It ages twelve months between French barrels and Austrian foudres. Expect a peppery, savory style with real structure, built for lamb, grilled meats, or anything with a char on it.

Berries, eucalyptus, leather, clove, licorice and black pepper on the nose, with toasted, roasted notes on the retronasal. Round tannins, medium-plus body and a long, spicy finish.
