Mollydooker built its reputation on big, joyful McLaren Vale reds, and The Scooter is the Merlot of the lineup. The 2022 goes full throttle: cherries, forest fruits, fresh plum, sweet berries laced with nutmeg and cinnamon, chocolate unfolding as it opens. Around 15 percent alcohol and it wears it like a good coat. Plush, soft, zero rough edges. If someone tells you Merlot is boring, pour them this and stand back. Cold nights, big food, happy people.
Cherries, forest fruits, fresh plum. Sweet berries with nutmeg and cinnamon, then chocolate and subtle oak. Black tea, cola, sage, a savory paprika twist. Plush texture, soft integrated tannins.
