Olivier Pithon - Mon P'tit Pithon - 2022

Olivier Pithon farms in the Roussillon, deep Catalan country in France's far south, and Mon P'tit Pithon is his glou-glou calling card. The blanc is a near-even split of Grenache Gris, Macabeu, and Grenache Blanc from 2022, bone dry at 12.5 percent. Juicy pear, stone fruit, honey, verbena, wet stone. Unpretentious and thirst-quenching by design, a wine to open with friends and finish before anyone notices. Southern French white with actual personality for under thirty-five bucks.
