Orchard Lane is the little-sister label of Sugar Loaf Wines, a family-run Marlborough estate on New Zealand's South Island farmed by David and Kate Acland, whose families have grown crops and livestock in the region for five generations. The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc comes off their own 21-hectare, sustainably certified vineyard on land that was once apple orchard. It's the everyday Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc for people who want the classic profile without fuss. Pour it on a weeknight or bring it to a cookout.

Aromatic with passionfruit, fresh-cut grass, and grapefruit. Ripe tropical fruit and mango on entry, rich and rounded through the mid-palate, with bright citrus and lively acidity. Tangy mineral finish.

Classic matches for Sauvignon Blanc: Goat cheese, oysters, green salads, anything with fresh herbs.

Orchard Lane is Sugar Loaf Wines' second label, owned by the Acland family (five generations of Marlborough farmers), farmed with a light-touch, 100-year-view philosophy and certified through Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand.
