The Far Niente crew's Pinot Noir project. EnRoute launched with the 2007 vintage when the Nickel family partners went west to the Russian River Valley, and Les Pommiers is the house blend, named for the apple orchards that covered this land before vines. The style holds steady vintage to vintage: dark cherry and raspberry fruit, silky tannins, juicy acidity. Think of it as the Far Niente of Pinot. Reliable, polished, crowd-pleasing in the best way.
Bing cherry, wild raspberry and plum with baking spice, black tea and candied orange peel. Silky tannins, generous dark berry palate, mouthwatering acidity through the finish.
