Mountain Cabernet from one of Sonoma's most dramatic estates. Stonestreet farms a sweep of vineyard climbing from 400 to 2,000 feet above Alexander Valley, and the 2018 Estate Cabernet pulls from across that range of sites. It is nearly all Cabernet Sauvignon with 1.5% Petit Verdot, matured 20 months in 35% new oak. Wine Enthusiast and the Wine Advocate both scored it 94 points. This is the bottle for the Cab drinker who has done Napa and wants altitude.

Blueberry, dark caramel, California bay and chaparral on the nose, then bramble, blackberry and bright cocoa on the palate. Rich mouthfeel, fine tannins, bright acid and considerable length.

Classic matches for Cabernet Sauvignon: Ribeye off the grill, lamb chops, aged cheddar, a rainy night and a good movie.

Stonestreet's estate is a mountain site in Alexander Valley whose vineyards range from 400 to 2,000 feet in elevation. The 2018 Estate Cabernet draws on that diversity and matured 20 months in 35% new oak.
