Adegas Gran Vinum - Nessa - Albarino - 2022

Nessa is Adegas Gran Vinum's flagship Albariño from Rías Baixas' Val do Salnés, and it's the best-selling wine in our shop's history, currently #14 all-time. The grapes are hand-harvested, cold-macerated at 46°F for four to six hours, then soft-pressed to keep the juice clean and bright. It shows the classic Rías Baixas signature: white flowers, elderflower, orchard fruit, and citrus, with balanced acidity that makes you want another sip. There's a reason customers keep coming back for this one.

Straw yellow with green glints. Aromas of white flowers, elderflower, mimosa, apple and pear over a citrus background. The palate enters soft, not sweet, with floral and white fruit notes returning on a fresh, balanced finish.

Built for Galician classics: pulpo a la gallega, steamed clams, or grilled octopus.

Adegas Gran Vinum sources Albariño from its own vineyards and grower partners in the Val do Salnés subregion of Rías Baixas, Galicia's coolest, most Atlantic-influenced zone for the variety. Harvest is done entirely by hand, with a field selection followed by a final sort at the winery before pressing.
