Dom Pérignon Rosé from 2008, one of the most celebrated Champagne vintages of this century. The house held it on the lees for twelve years before disgorging in 2019, and the color comes from still Pinot Noir grown in two tiny plots in Hautvillers and Aÿ. This is the bottle for the milestone that deserves more than the regular Dom: a landmark anniversary, a proposal, the night the deal finally closes.

Blood orange, strawberry, rose petal and dried orange peel over smoke and buttered toast, with a streak of iodine salinity. Dry, structured and very long.

Classic matches for Champagne: Oysters, fried chicken, potato chips, celebration in any form.

The rosé takes its hue from red Pinot Noir grown in the lieux-dits Chants de Linottes in Hautvillers and Vauzelles in Aÿ, folded into the 2008 blend and aged twelve years on the lees before its June 2019 disgorgement.
