REWA is a small Coombsville estate producing fewer than 1,000 cases a year from a nine-million-year-old volcanic caldera, and this Sauvignon Blanc blends Sauvignon Blanc clone 1 with the more aromatic Sauvignon Musqué. Barrel-fermented and aged sur lie for six months in French oak, it carries more texture and depth than a typical stainless-steel Sauvignon Blanc. Good for someone who likes the variety's brightness but wants a rounder, more serious version of it.

Lemon peel, jasmine, tangerine and kiwi aromas with a yeasty edge from barrel fermentation. Fresh and vibrant on the palate — pineapple, lime peel and elderflower — with a crisp, bright finish.

Ceviche or grilled shrimp with citrus — the tropical fruit and bright acid want something acidic right back.

REWA farms a single Coombsville estate planted on ancient volcanic soil from a long-collapsed caldera, one of Napa's coolest AVAs; the site carries both classic Sauvignon Blanc and the more floral Musqué clone.
