Canella has been making Prosecco since 1947, when Luciano Canella traded restaurant work for a winery near Conegliano. It's still family-run, by his children and a nephew now, and it was one of the first houses to bottle Prosecco DOC at all. This Brut is straight Glera, tank-fermented in the Charmat method, dry and persistent rather than sweet and simple. Straw yellow color, lively bubbles, citrus, apple and pear on the nose. It's a reliable aperitif bottle and an easy gift, no vintage to track, always in stock.

Straw yellow with lively perlage. Fresh, fruity nose of citrus, apple, pear and white peach. Dry, crisp and persistent on the palate, low dosage, clean finish.

Founded 1947 by Luciano Canella near Conegliano, one of the earliest producers to bottle Prosecco DOC. Now run by his children Alessandra, Lorenzo, Nicoletta and Monica alongside nephew Tommaso; the winery also pioneered bottling Bellini, first releasing it in 1998.
