Menetou-Salon is Sancerre's next-door neighbor, same Kimmeridgian limestone, friendlier prices, and Domaine Pellé is the name in the village of Morogues, where the family farms biodynamically. This 2022 rosé is Pinot Noir, pale and delicate, all white flowers and small red berries over a mineral snap that keeps the glass emptying itself. Drink it the way the locals do, cold, outside, with food. Sancerre rosé taste without the Sancerre tab.

Pale pink. White flowers and small red fruits on the nose. Delicate, fresh palate, bright acidity, stony minerality, and a finish with surprising length.
