Willowcroft is Loudoun County's original winery, pouring since 1984 from an 1875 barn high on Catoctin Ridge just south of Leesburg. Rose of Sharon is the house dry rose: 46% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Chambourcin, all Virginia fruit. The 2023 took bronze at the 2024 Atlantic Seaboard competition. This is the bottle for anyone who claims Virginia can't do dry pink. Made twenty minutes from our door. Porch wine with real local roots.
Strawberry and cranberry lead, with a squeeze of lemon on the finish. Bone dry, light on its feet, crisp acidity, clean and refreshing to the last sip.

Lew Parker opened Willowcroft in 1984, making it Loudoun County's oldest winery. The vines sit atop Catoctin Ridge at the southern edge of Leesburg, tastings still happen in the 1875 barn, and every wine is made from Virginia grapes.
