Lui is the youngest, freshest wine from Lui & William, a small family winery started in 2005 by brothers Luis Ángel and Guillermo on their family's Toro vineyards along the Duero. It's 100% Tinta de Toro from old vines on sandy, rocky, clay-based soil, aged about 10 months in French oak. Toro reds have a reputation for muscle, but this one is built for balance rather than brute force. Good pour for grilled meats or anyone who wants Tempranillo with real weight behind it.
