The name is the sound the bottle makes. Grandes Vinos grows this Garnacha in Cariñena, one of Spain's oldest wine regions, then bottles it the modern way: light, chillable, zero pretension. Glou-glou is what the French call wines like this — gluggable — and the Spanish spelling on the label is the whole mission statement. Feather-light, fruit-forward, best a little cold. The red for people who swear they only drink white in summer.
Raspberry, strawberry and tart cherry with a snap of blood orange peel, plus cinnamon and black pepper riding shotgun. Soft tannins, crisp thirst-quenching finish.
