Amendment XXI is Beau Vigne's Napa Valley proprietary red, named for the amendment that ended Prohibition. The 2021 blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, primarily from Miller Ranch in Yountville plus estate fruit grown in volcanic soils high on Atlas Peak, planted to Cabernet clone 337. Decanter gave it 91 points. Wine-Searcher's average price is $43 and the winery's suggested retail runs far higher, so at $32 this is your Napa Cab night cheat code.

Tobacco and vanilla on the nose. Black cherry and cassis with baking spice, rich saturated fruit, medium-grip tannins, and a plush, layered finish.
