Barossa Valley Estate has been a defining name in the Barossa since 1985, the winery behind the cult E&E Black Pepper Shiraz. This 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon carries the same house style down to an everyday price: fruit destemmed and given a cool pre-fermentation maceration, then fermented up to seven days to keep varietal character vibrant and build a soft tannin structure. Deep red, full bodied, and built to drink now.

Dark plum and black currant lead into cedar, chocolate, and leafy herb notes, with green peppercorn and toasty oak. Full bodied with creamy, drying tannins and a savory, juicy finish.

Classic matches for Cabernet Sauvignon: Ribeye off the grill, lamb chops, aged cheddar, a rainy night and a good movie.
