DAOU's Reserve Cabernet is the Paso Robles winery's top-tier blend, built mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon with a healthy dose of Petit Verdot for structure. The 2021 spent 16 months in 50% new French oak and earned 96 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Opulent and layered, it's the bottle for someone who wants a big, polished Paso Robles Cabernet with real critical pedigree behind it.

Black fruit, pomegranate, tobacco, mocha and bay leaf, with clove, nutmeg and vanilla as it opens. Opulent palate of red fruit, blueberry and chocolate-covered raspberry, velvety tannins, long finish.
