Foley Johnson farms Rutherford, the Napa neighborhood known for 'Rutherford dust' — the dusty, structured tannin that separates this stretch of valley floor from everywhere else. It's part of Bill Foley's growing Napa portfolio. The 2019 is deep ruby, full-bodied and built with real structure: this isn't a wine to drink the night you buy it. Give it five years and it opens up.

Bramble fruit, cassis, vanilla bean and dark chocolate. Silky tannins, balanced acidity, a long, intense finish. Full-bodied and structured, not a lightweight.

Classic matches for Cabernet Sauvignon: Ribeye off the grill, lamb chops, aged cheddar, a rainy night and a good movie.
