A true Napa garage find. Frisinger Family Vineyard is a small family-run winery in the Oak Knoll District that most people have never heard of, which is the point. Their Chardonnay is barrel fermented and aged sur lie for over 18 months in once and twice used French oak, from a blend of clones 76 and 809. Rich, golden, unapologetically Napa in style. Tiny production from a boutique family operation.
Butterscotch and toasted almond on the nose. Citrus, apple, pear and melon on the palate, rounded texture, gentle acidity, warm persistent finish.

The Frisingers farm on Dry Creek Road in Napa's Oak Knoll District. In 2023 they replanted the estate vineyard to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec plus an acre of Chardonnay, and their Chardonnay sourcing stays focused on Oak Knoll sites.
