He pulls the barrels of his Sonoma County Cabernet that age faster and richer than the rest, then bottles them with minimal added sulfur. The 2023 is glam rock in a glass: opulent dark fruit, violets and cocoa, velvet tannins, and a current of freshness that keeps it all moving. Serious Cabernet that refuses to take itself seriously.
