Love On Mars is winemaker Richard Luftig's David Bowie tribute under his Pied a Terre label. He pulls the barrels of his Sonoma County Cabernet that age faster and richer than the rest, then bottles them with minimal added sulfur. The 2023 is glam rock in a glass: opulent dark fruit, violets and cocoa, velvet tannins, and a current of freshness that keeps it all moving. Serious Cabernet that refuses to take itself seriously. A great gift bottle.
Dark raspberry, blackberry, cherry, and blueberry layered with violets, cocoa nib, and baking spice. Lush texture, velvety tannins, vibrant and energetic through the finish.
