The varietal Zinfandel in Oak Farm's Tievoli Series, grown in Lodi, California's old-Zin heartland. Same hands-on program as the rest of the line: morning-picked fruit, a two-day cold soak, tank fermentation, then barrel aging in largely neutral oak so the fruit stays loud. Expect black cherry, blackberry, cherry cola, and dried bay leaf with silky tannins and a dry finish. Lodi Zin is the best value in California red, and this is a polished example.
