Poggio Civetta is a Chianti Classico from Tenute Rossetti, a family winery near Florence founded in the early 1900s and now part of the Farnese group. The blend is 90% Sangiovese with 5% Canaiolo and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged nine months across barrels of different sizes. It's a softer, rounder style of Chianti Classico than the austere old guard, drier than Farnese's southern Italian wines but still generous. A reliable, everyday Chianti Classico for pizza night or a plate of pasta.

Sangiovese-driven, with red cherry and soft red fruit, dried herb undertones and gentle tannins. Medium body, balanced acidity, a smooth, easy-drinking finish.
