Skyfall pulls Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from the harsh, sun-scorched vineyards of Washington's Columbia Valley, where sparse rain and shallow soils force the vines to work for every cluster. Winemaker Nicole Walsh built her reputation over two decades at Bonny Doon before striking out on her own, and she's become a leading voice in the Women Owned Winery Movement. This 2020 blends 85% Cabernet Sauvignon with 15% Syrah for extra spice and lift. Pour it with a steak.

Wild blueberry and dusty blackberry lead, backed by peppery spice. The palate is bright, full-bodied, and fresh, closing on a smooth, easy finish.

Classic matches for Cabernet Sauvignon: Ribeye off the grill, lamb chops, aged cheddar, a rainy night and a good movie.

Winemaker Nicole Walsh spent nearly two decades as winemaker for Bonny Doon Vineyard in California before turning her focus to Washington fruit. She's built an abundance of 90-plus scores and is recognized as a leader in the Women Owned Winery Movement.
