Small-family Napa winery, zero pretension. The Frisingers have owned their 20-acre property on the western edge of the Oak Knoll District since 1981, and Karl and Rachel Frisinger now run the revived family label. The 2023 rosé is their porch pour: bright, balanced and openly crowd-friendly, all raspberry, Rainier cherry and pineapple guava with a grapefruit twist. Boutique production, family-run top to bottom. Chill it hard and let the afternoon happen.
Raspberry, pomegranate and Rainier cherry up front, then white nectarine and pineapple guava. Light ruby grapefruit and watermelon-pith grip keep the finish dry, bright and clean.

Jim and Carin Frisinger bought the Oak Knoll property in 1981; their son Karl and his wife Rachel revived the winery. The estate vineyard was replanted in 2023 to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and an acre of Chardonnay.
