Masca del Tacco farms across Puglia's Salento peninsula with a mission to showcase native southern Italian grapes, and Susumaniello is one of the region's most distinctive: a thick-skinned, deeply colored variety once nearly forgotten before growers like this one brought it back. This rosato took 89 points at Falstaff's Trophy Rosé Italia 2023. Light onion-skin pink in the glass, it's a serious, food-friendly rosé from a producer built around Apulian identity rather than international varieties.

Light onion-skin color with floral aromas and ripe clementine notes, opening to hints of dried fruit. Fresh and expressive, closer to a food rosé than a poolside sipper.
